Institutional Settlements - Trade Processing Professional
Davy is Ireland's leading provider of stockbroking, wealth management and financial advisory services. We offer a broad range of services to private clients, small businesses, corporations and institutional investors, and organise our activities around four interrelated business areas - Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Private Clients and Research.
An opportunity exists to work as part of the Institutional Settlement Team as a Trade Processing Professional. The successful candidate will provide support to our Institutional Equity Trading Desk and will be dedicated to providing a top class service and delivery to our corporate clients worldwide. This is a great opportunity for someone to get experience in all areas of Institutional Settlement.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
- To ensure prompt and accurate processing of all institutional and proprietary trades and confirm trades with our clients within strict time-frames;
- To meticulously maintain our client database to ensure that all client changes are acted upon promptly;
- U.S. Settlements;
- To provide weekly and monthly commission analyses to the Equity Dealing desk;
- To provide cover in CREST and European Settlements.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in stockbroking/finance;
- A business related degree;
- Good mathematical and analytical skills;
- Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines;
- Strong processing skills and an eye for detail;
- A proven record as a strong team player;
- Strong IT skills
