We believe that property is a long term, stable asset class. Managed property investments typically produce a regular income stream from quarterly rents and regular rent reviews. With a low correlation to equities and bonds, property plays an important role in portfolio diversification, enabling investors to protect their overall portfolio against the risks posed by more volatile assets.
We are continuously searching Ireland and abroad to work with property investment managers who are the best in their geographic region and/or sector. This allows us to offer clients a range of excellent investment opportunities across the entire property spectrum. We believe that investing in the right projects with the right co-investment partners using appropriate levels of bank debt provides very attractive investment opportunities.
We adhere to a number of guiding investment principles:
- We look at a wide range of deals, in Ireland and overseas, to identify those likely to be most profitable for our clients.
- We exhaustively research and analyse each opportunity before investing.
- We actively manage each of our direct property investments. If and when we believe it's time to realise profits, we will do so, enabling us to reinvest in more profitable opportunities.
- We are in constant contact with our property fund investment managers to ensure they continue to meet the projected performance guidelines.
Each project is structured for optimal efficiency and, where possible, allows for pension as well as individual investment.
